When I launched the Summer Street Portraits series on Spotlight, I knew it would be a daily challenge. Sure there are tons of daily photo blogs out there, but the subject here is specific. Had an amazing time shooting Kofi and Amanda Sereboe’s wedding on Saturday. In between festivities, we found a skate park for some colourful backgrounds. Many more images to come, but first I need to let my fingers rest from a weekend of heavy clicking.

Anyone that is into…

……………will know about the Sartorialist. A wonderful photo blog run by Scott Schuman - the former director of men’s fashion at Bergdoff goodman. He travels, taking pictures of people on the streets that caught his eyes. The blog is a colourful look at street fashion in New York, Paris, Milan. It has also influenced designers and magazines over the last few years. Anyway, this photo was the cause of one of those “Hello beautiful” moments.

It’s been a while, well on the blog side anyway. Otherwise, I just can’t keep up with how busy the summer has been. Both on the Spotlight front as well as Visual Tirades. I’ve heard all your complaints, and I promise this time the updates are back for good.
