caribana nights, street photos

I’ve been meaning for a while to put up these photos. I had a great time taking them. Street photography will always be one of my favourite aspects of the medium and its always something I fall back to connect with my surroundings, practice, or experiment.
Maybe not so much right now, but in the summer time there is wealth of street photography potential in Toronto due to many events. One of my favourite is Caribana. Festival aside, another attraction of the festival is the immense crowd that it draws from the states, tourists usually spending the entire weekend in the city. At night, the streets are filled with a large number of foreign faces and styles.

Since the completion of Dundas square, most of the kids tend to congregate there at night. Here are some photos from a candid night out.

Hey Suresh. These are some incredible and you call them candid? I’d like to see what you think are professional quality photos.
