There’s something inherently appealing about the ability to convey a thought or emotion by simply capturing the world around us; to find beauty in a scene that might otherwise pass as ordinary.

A single snapshot, sometimes taken in a moment of spontaneous inspiration, sometimes carefully cultivatedand manicured for a perfect outcome; both overcome the artist as photographer at any given moment, as a means of conveying the world through the eyes of the artist. Photography is more than just a hobby; it’s born out of passion for life that breathes vibrancy into what we normally perceive as ordinary.

This site was registered about 7 years ago. I wanted a dumping ground for ideas pertaining to some of my other pet projects. I wanted a site where I could freely experiment with hobbies. Since then this site has evolved into a photo-food site that primarily shows the kind of work I’ve done, and still facilitate as a place of experimentation.

Most of my adult life has been spent in Toronto, and this place has been the basis for my maturity, perception and creativity. During any given day, I’m involved in a variety of different projects. I run Spotlight Toronto, contract in the IT industry, and take photos. Through these various projects, I’ve been exposed to many different aspects of city life and culture. That diversity has always been my strength. In the Photography world, I have shifted from food to nature, from weddings to fashion, from architecture to events. I love it all, and strive to achieve flattering images that require minimal post processing.
